Figshare for Institutions is an open platform for publishing Smithsonian research data.
Features include:
- No additional password to remember - log in with your SI network credentials
- Reserve a DOI for your dataset before you publish it (for datasets that accompany peer-reviewed publications)
- Integration with ORCID and github
- Accepts any file type, provides preview for common file types
- Versioning (with unique, related DOIs for each version)
